Conditions and versions

Keep common wording together and show differences only when they apply.

Show when

Select a section, element or clause and open Show when. Choose the answer to check and its matching value. Content with no additional rule follows any conditions on its parent section or version.

Match several answers

When the same wording applies to several choices in one question, select them together with “is any of”. For example, select both Wolf-hosted and client-managed WordPress in one service condition. Use “all” when different requirements must both match; use “any” when either requirement is enough.

A clause or a whole version?

Use a conditional clause when only a short passage changes. Use section versions for substantial alternative wording. Each version needs a condition that covers its intended answers. A missing option can leave a gap; overlapping conditions can include content you did not intend.

Test every route

Try every service or entity option in Preview, including combinations of conditions. Check hidden questions, required answers, numbering and cross-references. Changing a parent answer may make a dependent answer inactive; check the final output rather than relying on the editor view.
